Ages Considered (ACO) is a Ugandan non-profit, non-government organization working with marginalized and underprivileged groups of people, especially rural women and children in both in rural and urban areas. ACO was founded in 2018 as a community based organization and later registered as an NGO in 2019 with functional governance structures that include a board of directors, a dedicated management team, staff and volunteers. ACO is officially registered with the NGO Board as a Ugandan non-governmental organization, incorporated as a company limited by guarantee.
ACO works to improved livelihoods and sustainable development in Uganda through several inclusive interventions in sustainable agriculture, environment, renewable energy, inclusive education, communities and asset building, workforce and economic mobility, gender equality and social inclusion, governance and justice, health natural resources management, water sanitation and hygiene ( WASH).
